One down, two to go!
The Beyond Quilts booth at the craft show this weekend got a bit of a face lift with the addition of 6 foot tall wire shelves to display pillows and blankets. I decided to sell some of my husband’s (“M”) homemade kolatchkies and they sold like the proverbial hotcakes the first day.
The show was held in a middle school and I had the same space as before, right inside of the side doors in the cafeteria. It was a good crowd and enjoyed catching up with some of the familiar faces of the neighboring crafters seen last year at the same show.
Next weekend is a big craft show in Valparaiso, IN at the Porter County Expo Center. The dates for the Holidaze Arts And Craft Show are November 21-22 and will be open 10 am - 5 pm the first day and only until 4 pm the next.
I’m going to work on a few custom orders some of the visitors to my booth requested when I didn’t have exactly what they wanted. It’s hard to tell just how many of my creations are finding new homes when there’s always something new to take up the empty space! I’m like a machine!
If you didn’t get the chance to come out and see me this weekend then I hope to see you in Valpo or at the Lincoln Center on 2450 Lincoln Street, Highland, IN from November 29-30th.
And if you can’t make it to any of the holiday shows you can always shop for I-Spy quilts, doll blankets and more at my Etsy store.
